About
Built by operators, for founders
MaximasOne exists because too many strong commercial founders stall at execution — and the fix is a partner, not an agency.
The thesis
The bottleneck is rarely the idea
Plenty of people can sell. They know a market intimately, they can open doors, and they can tell when a problem is worth paying to solve. What stops them is everything that comes after the pitch: deciding what to build, choosing how to build it, and running the operation that keeps it alive.
The usual options don't fit. Hiring a technical co-founder means recruiting for a role you can't evaluate. An agency needs a specification you were never meant to write. Advisors stop at the recommendation and leave the execution on your desk.
MaximasOne was built as the third option: an experienced product and operations partner who embeds into the business, owns the execution side, and shares in the result. You stay where you're strongest — the market — and the product stops being the thing you can't get to.
How we operate
The principles behind the partnership
Ownership over advice
Recommendations are cheap. We take responsibility for the decisions and for the work that follows them.
Scope discipline
Most first products fail from doing too much, too early. We protect the smallest version that proves the business.
Shared risk
Tying part of our compensation to revenue keeps us honest about what's worth building and what isn't.
Plain language
You should never need a translator to understand your own product. We explain trade-offs in terms of the business.
Who we serve
The founders we work best with
We take on a small number of partnerships at a time, because embedding properly is the whole point of the model.
- Founders with real commercial ability and no technical co-founder
- Operators inside an industry who see a product gap clearly
- Service businesses turning proven delivery into a product
- Early companies that need execution capacity more than advice
The team
Leadership
Austin Myers
Co-Founder & CEO
Austin has an extensive entrepreneurial background and a history of creating quality, execution-oriented strategies. He has been part of ownership or leadership teams for a number of companies across a range of industries — insurance, benefits, financial services, HR, construction, and more — and has served on boards ranging from major healthcare organizations to education. Along the way, he has helped colleagues build companies and products of their own, from staffing to inventory management and online sales systems.
At MaximasOne, Austin owns all client relationships and strategic planning, and oversees the execution of every founder's vision — working directly with the development team on each partnership to make sure what gets built always represents what the founder set out to create.
